What
we believe...
… The Bible is
the inspired and only infallible and authoritative written Word of God.
…There is one
God, eternal existent in three persons, God the Father, God the Son, and
God the Holy Spirit.
…In the deity of
our Lord Jesus Christ, in His virgin birth, in His sinless life, in His
miracles, in His vicarious and atoning death, in His bodily
resurrection, in His ascension to the right hand of the Father, and in
His personal future return to this earth in power and glory to rule a
thousand years.
…The only means
of being cleansed from sin is through repentance and faith in the
precious blood of Jesus Christ.
…The redemptive
work of Jesus Christ on the cross provides healing of the human body in
answer to believing prayer.
…That
regeneration by the Holy Spirit is absolutely essential for personal
salvation; the baptism in the Holy Spirit according to Acts 2:4 is given
to believers who ask for it; and in the sanctifying power of the Holy
Spirit by those whose indwelling the Christian is enable to live a holy
life.
…In water baptism
by immersion.
…In the blessed
hope, the rapture of the church at Jesus Christ’s coming.
…In
the resurrection of both the saved and lost, one to everlasting life and
the other to everlasting damnation.

Why Do We...
Stand To Sing?
2 Chr. 20:19- The Levites… of the Korhites, stood up to praise the
Lord God of Israel with a loud voice on high. Rev. 7: 9-10- After
these things I looked, and beheld a great multitude, which no one could
number, of all nations, tribes, peoples, and tongues, standing before
the throne and before the Lamb, clothed with white robes, with palm
branches in their hands, and crying out with a loud voice, saying,
“Salvation to our God who sits on the throne, and to the Lamb!”
Clap Our Hands?
Ps. 47:1- O clap your hands, all ye people; shout unto God with
the voice of triumph.
Lift Our Hands?
Ps.134: 2- Lift up your hands in the sanctuary, and bless the
Lord. 1 Tim. 2:8- I desire that the men pray everywhere, lifting
up holy hands, without wrath and doubting.
Sing In Tongues
And In English? 1 Cor. 14: 14-15-
For if I pray in a tongue, my spirit prays, but my understanding is
unfruitful. What is the conclusion then? I will pray with the spirit,
and I will also pray with the understanding; I will sing with the
spirit, and I will also sing with understanding.
Sing Choruses As
Well As Hymns? Col. 3:16- Let the
Word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom; teaching and
admonishing one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing
with grace in your hearts to the Lord. Eph. 5:17-19- Wherefore be
ye not unwise, but understanding what the will of the Lord is. And be
not drunk with wine, wherein excess; but be filled with the Spirit;
speaking to yourselves in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing
and making melody in your heart to the Lord.
Prophesy?
1 Cor. 14: 1, 3- Follow after charity, and desire spiritual
gifts, but rather that ye may prophesy. But he that prophesieth speaketh
unto men to edification, and exhortation, and comfort. 1 Cor. 12:10-
But the manifestation of the Spirit is given to every man to profit
withal…to another the working of miracles; to another prophecy…
Have
Speaking With Tongues And Interpretation Of Those Tongues In The Church?
1 Cor. 14: 39- Wherefore, brethren, covet to prophesy, and forbid
not to speak in tongues. 1 Cor. 14:4- I would that ye all spake
with tongues, but rather that ye prophesied: for greater is he that
prophesieth than he that speaketh with tongues, except he interpret,
that the church may receive edifying. 1 Cor. 14:27- If any man
speak in an unknown tongue, let it be by two or at the most three, and
that by course; and let one interpret.
